Congeneric Weapons are a set of weapons that are related.
These weapons can be swapped inbetween by using a Crafting Hammer.
The Crafting Hammer can be used to switch Congeneric Weapons.
Players can use it to switch between Congeneric Weapons, while maintaining the same quality and fully restoring the durability.
It can be obtained from the Rift Dealer or Morus' Blessing.
Congeneric Skills are a set of moves that can only be performed when both Congeneric Weapons of the same category are equipped.
The Attack Power of these moves will equal to the average of both weapons' respective Attack Power.
Examples:
To have an Attack Power of 1.6
, both weapons must be Legendary.
If one of your weapons are Common, and the other is Legendary, the Attack Power will be 1.3

= 1.3
).
When performing a Congeneric Skill move, both weapons have their durability reduced for each hits.

Equip both Greatsword and Polesword in the weapon slots
While performing an attack move with Greatsword or Polesword, you can switch between primary and secondary weapons to execute the resonated move, which enables subsequent "Congeneric Skill".
Attacks during the falling state and grappling state do not count as eligible starter moves.
The Stone Form damage reduction will depend on which weapon was last switched to (i.e. the weapon that caused the activation of the Congeneric Skill):

Grants Invincible Stone Form during charge state if not moving, Regular Stone Form during charge state if moving (or has moved), then grants Invincible Stone Form during the move active frames.
If the Activation move has hit an enemy at least once, this move cannot be charged and will be automatically released (if A or B has been pressed).
If the Activation move whiffed on both hits, this move can be charged. The wielder can also freely move during the charge.
