Stone Form is a defense mechanism exclusive to the Greatsword. Some moves grant it at specific moments.
- When the character is attacked while granted Stone Form, the stance will activate, reducing received damage by
90%
.
- After a while (30 to 72 frames), if an attack button has been pressed while in Stone Form, a retaliation move is performed.
- If the player did not hold the attack button immediately after blocking, the retalation move can be delayed or chosen to not be performed.
There are 2 different kinds of Stone Form. Refer to the move list of the weapon above to know which one activates when. Although some rules can be generalized, so as a rule of thumb:
- When performing an attack after a previous attack, Invincible Stone Form becomes active.
- Some attacks inherently activate Invincible Stone Form during their active frames. Refer to the weapon move list above for more details.
- The first time an attack is performed after changing movement state (i.e. Standing to Running, Sprinting to Standing, etc.), the charged attack will activate Regular Stone Form during the charge time.
This form blocks regular attacks received in a 220 degrees angle.
This form blocks Blue Focus attacks in a 220 degrees angle.
